About the tour

Your tour takes you to: Rhodes ➔ Kastellorizo ➔ Amorgos ➔ Koufonisia ➔ Naxos

Set sail on an extraordinary adventure through the Greek islands. From iconic highlights to hidden gems only a true insider can find, every stop will leave you spellbound. Guided by Tammie Powell, your cheerful and multilingual travel expert, you’ll experience Europe’s finest—storybook scenery, rich culture, and local secrets waiting to be discovered. Pack your bags; paradise awaits!

Your trip includes economy return airfares (up to $2500). Hotels in stunning locations — 5 nights in Rhodes, 3 nights in Kastellorizo, 4 nights in Amorgos, 3 nights in Koufonisia, 5 nights in Naxos = Total of 20 hotel nights. Taxes, transfers to/from the airport or port to the hotels, all ferries and high-speed boat travel between islands, any meals and day trips that have been specified as included in the itinerary.

  • Limited time inclusions

Prices are broken in to three groups. All prices include economy return airfares in forward zone seats up to the cost of $2500 (please enquire further if you want business class or premium economy seat prices, specific airlines, deviations, extensions or stopovers), taxes, transfers on each island to hotels from the airport or port, all ferries and high-speed boat travel between islands, any meals and day trips that have been specified in the above itinerary. The difference in the prices below reflect the hotels only. The Greek Islands do not have big hotel-style resorts, they have boutique hotels. All hotels will be within a very short walking distance from each other depending on the category you choose. Most rooms are twin or triple rooms so groups of 4 will likely be broken in to two twin rooms and groups of 5 will likely be in a twin and a triple room. Where family rooms are available they will be booked in as one apartment/room.

The hotels will include – 4 nights in Rhodes, 3 nights in Kastellorizo, 3 nights in Symi, 3 nights in Amorgos, 3 nights in Koufonisia, 4 nights in Naxos = Total of 20 hotel nights.

Occasionally if weather or other circumstances prevent access to any island it can be interchanged with nearby islands. This situation would be discussed at length with the group.

A $1000 deposit per person is required to hold your space on the tour. This is an incredibly unique tour so spaces are very limited.

    Maximum 40 people per tour.

 Itinerary

  • Arrive in Rhodes, its name already synonymous with fun.

Transfer from the airport/port to Lindos. Lindos is a fantastic, small town on the South Eastern coast of Rhodes. Get settled in your hotel and recover from the long journey with a local yiros or a fabulous Greek salad, some Ouzo and cocktails at a beautiful jazz bar in the old town. The food in Greece is probably the BEST food you can find in the world.

  • Explore Lindos.

The local beach is tiny but gorgeous or you can head further to some other secluded beaches. Have a free day by the pool or meander around the numerous shops. Get lost in the gorgeous walking only zone and see some of the best jewellery, boutique shops and designer outfits. Explore tiny alleyways to immerse yourself in the fabulous Greek lifestyle. This is a more relaxed day to recover from the flight and get ready for the tour. Welcome dinner (included in tour cost) at a fabulous local taverna.

  • Beach time!

Hang out on the beach in Lindos and soak up the sun!! Or traverse the gorgeous alleyways of Lindos for a final night.

  • Rhodes Old Town.

A hotel switch up to Rhodes Old Town. A medieval walled city with a castle looming over the cobbled streets. A fantastic vibe and a wonderful place to explore.

  • Rhodes Old Town.

Visit the castle or soak up the history of the knights. A fun and vibrant area, there is never much down time in Rhodes!!

  • Ferry to Kastellorizo

Back to the port to jump on a Blue Star ferry and cruise 3 hours further South East to the incredible Kastellorizo. Nestled only 20 minutes under Turkey from the town of Kas, Kastellorizo is one of the best and most unknown islands in Greece. Massive turtles roam through the water. There is no beach in the town, you just jump straight off the sidewalk in to the ocean and float with the turtles.

  • Float around Kastellorizo.

It is very easy to float and eat your way through the beautiful Kastellorizo days. The food is incredible and the scenery is amazing. You can head over to Kas (pronounced CASH) in Turkey for a day trip. There are also optional trips to see the blue lagoon, if the weather permits, as the cave can only be accessed at certain times of the day. You can also get a boat to a beach nearby.

  • One more day to relax in Kastellorizo or see any wonderful bits you may have missed.

  • Ferry to Amorgos

Settle into your hotel and enjoy a day by the pool or at the beach to relax. The old town of Amorgos (Chora) is a wonderful glimpse back in time. There is the Monastery of Panagia hanging precariously off the side of the cliff and some sensational hikes around different sections of the island. Amorgos is very unknown on the tourist trail. It has two ports and some of the best food and beaches in Greece.

  • The old town of Amorgos.

Visit Chora and explore or the monastery or any bits you have missed. Amorgos has endless sights to see and discover. It is a very ‘local’ island with very few residents and even less tourists. There are several fantastic beaches so you can hire quads or a car to drive around this unusually shaped island.

  • Further afield in Amorgos.

Get the “party boat” to the beach for a day on the sunbeds. Take a boat out yourself for a fishing trip and explore the caves.

Amorgos offers a variety of experiences, from exploring all the stunning beaches and charming villages to delving into its rich history and culture. Must-do activities include visiting the Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa, wandering the streets of Chora and enjoying the beaches of Agia Anna and Aegiali.

  • Wonderful Amorgos.

Your last day in Amorgos to relax or finish off sightseeing.

  • Ferry to Koufonisia.

A jewel in the crown of Greece. Koufonisia has some of the best beaches in the world and will not disappoint. Everyone has likely seen pictures of the beaches of Koufonisia. It is a regular on the “best beaches in the world” list, but not many people know the name or how to get there. It is a tiny island and part of the principality of Naxos. We have 3 nights to explore this amazing island.

  • Beach Day!!

Spend the day meandering around Koufonisia and swimming. You can take a boat to the nearby uninhabited islands too.

  • Time stands still here!!

Spend the day on the beach relaxing or visit nearby islands. If you are feeling more adventurous you can go on an optional kayak or paddleboard tour around some of the beaches too.

  • Ferry to Naxos.

Settle into the hotel and then down to Vammos on Saint George beach. You can hire sunbeds, have lunch or cocktails before heading to our special Greek night dinner at Scirocco (included in tour cost). Located on the square, this restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Naxos. The local food is incredible and this will be a special night. After dinner stroll around the marina and shops or grab a rolled ice cream.

  • Beach Time!!

A wonderful day to spend sauntering the streets of old town Naxos. Walk up to the church on the hill or relax on a sunbed on Saint George beach. Do some shopping or exploring of many of the wonderful things in Chora or visit the castle and museum. Pack a picnic and take a trip up to the Portara at sunset for a perfect end to the day. Stop on the way back for some waffles or cocktails at the port.

  • Day trips.

Optional quad bike or jeep tour around some of the island, heading first to Prokopios beach or on to Plaka beach. Head up to Filoti or inland to the Temple of Dionysus. There is also wind surfing or snorkelling around Naxos that is easily accessible from Saint George beach. Everything is in Greek time (slow paced) and all the food anywhere on Naxos is incredible.

  • Relaxing in Naxos.

Spend the day on the beach or head around to the water sport windsurfing zone. There are incredible beaches further afield including Prokopios. Apollonas and Plaka are also worth a visit.

  • Head inland!

The inland villages of Aperianthos and Filoti are absolutely unmissable traditional villages. They have amazing food, shops and wonderful local atmosphere. A must do at some point on your visit to Naxos.

  • Time to say Goodbye!!

Transfer from Naxos to your flight home. If you are continuing on your journey, enjoy some more of the endless wonderful history Europe has to offer.

Times and airports can vary. More information on the best flights for your group will be discussed when booking.
